Hip Hop superstar Lil Wayne might’ve gotten arrested last night at club Dream in New Orleans. According to top headlines on Totally Jealous, "Weezy was approached by some nobody probably wanting to talk about a deal when things went sour. Supposedly Weezy laughed in the guys face proclaiming his status as the King of New Orleans when the guy snapped and a brief scuffle ensued."

Cops arrived and arrested both men. Rumours have it that the platinum selling artist of the Carter III was also found with two unregistered pistols on him. Police escorted him out of the club. Reportedly, Wayne will be charged with one count of second-degree aggravated assault, one count of disturbing the peace, and two counts for possession of a firearm.

The questions becomes, with all the violence on the streets and rappers being frequent targets, is it unreasonable for a rapper to carry a gun? What's wiser? To follow some law that bars a felon from owning a gun, when that gun could ultimately save his or her life or to carry a gun to protect yourself even though you risk jail time?
