Cam'ron - Crime Pays

Cam'ron Giles made a re entrance on the Hip Hop scene after a two (2) year hiatus. A youtube video showing Cam by a pool promising a hot summer in 2007 had been the last time fans heard from Cam'ron before he seemingly disappeared amidst many rumours that left fans wondering where he was. The Harlem MC has had his share of controversies of late. He since explained that he stepped away from the game, 'taking time off to care for his mother' who was reportedly recovering from illness. During the same time a highly publicized beef fumed between himself and G Unit Mogul 50 Cent which coupled with disagreements within his Dipset crew causing a split between Himself and long time protégées Juelz Santana and Jim Jones.

Many express feelings of doubt urging that the rapper may have become lost in the past after being away for so long. Heading in a new direction musically Cam'ron did not adapt to the new styles in the game but instead he maintained his street edge and stayed true to his Harlem style with his witty lyrics and wordplay. He returns to the game with two distinct singles "I Used To Get It In Ohio" and "Cookies And Some Apple Juice" which are both off his new album entitled "Crime Pays" which is designed to bring him back to glory as a Def Jam heavyweight.
