INTRODUCING - INFAMOUS STARKS!!

As the Canadian hip hop circuit seeks international recognition it continues to be propelled by a series of very distinct yet consciously motivated underground artists. Hip hop’s globalization in the early 2000s saw a new transition for many who hailed from places where a hard knock life propagates raw talent. From Vancouver to Montreal, Edmonton to Ottawa and Toronto in North America a new breed of underground artists has risen to steep challenges that often seclude that same ever so underrated batch from the exposure they deserve. Part of this challenge stems from being misunderstood in a rat - race where a distinction between art and reality is deliberately seldom. The recipe for success has intertwined with the same limits that has hindered but yet developed a creed where Caribbean and Canadian origins mix with mainstream hip hop influences delivering some of the best rappers from the north.
Infamous Starks of the "WYLD BOYZ" is one such artist who has stormed out of the notorious projects of Jane and Finch area in Toronto, Canada. The Jane and Finch area is one of Toronto’s prominent urban societies where poverty had driven many of its indigent into a life delimited by crime. In pursuit of the Canadian dream, thugs transformed the area into ‘the gun crime capitol of Canada’. Gun violence and unsolved homicides are not the only plights that plagued the likes of Infamous Starks as he grew up and became a product of this society where staying out of trouble can prove to be a difficult task. Starks soon accumulated up to 22 months of jail time based on an alleged gun related charge and other related issues before embarking on a full time hip hop career. He has picked up the microphone in an attempt to voice out his aggravation so that fans who understand this type of pain can relate to his struggle and eventually buy his records.
Representing T.Dot to the fullest, Infamous Starks has performed his music everywhere in the region and been featured on his hip hop mixtape debut entitled "Gs Up." He was also featured on Benny Blacc’s (of tha Smugglaz) Street Rapper Mixtape in 2008. Both mixtapes can be downloaded for free at www.datpiff.com and www.hiphopcanada.com. The "Wyld Boyz" which is Infamous Starks’ own rap group has decided to forgo a life of crime in exchange for a promise of a new dream. That dream is the new hustle within the ever evolving underground hip hop circuit of
