A DOCUMENTARY ON PARIS HILTON

Born in New York, New York, this 80’s baby is an all American heiress who converted from a child model and grew up into a media personality. Paris Hilton managed to accomplish everything in Hollywood. From modeling to acting, fashion designing to music and now launching a full documentary of her life. Paris has a hustle that must be respected. In 2007 her grandfather, Barron Hilton surprised everyone when he pledged 97% of his estates to a charity organization founded by his father called The Conrad N. Hilton Foundation. His pledge amounted up to a whopping $ 1.2 billion which he gave up in 2007 plus another $ 1.1 billion which will be paid to the foundation upon his death. The move greatly diminished the potential inheritance of his heirs including Paris Hilton. In 2009 MTV screened a new documentary for Miss Paris entitled ‘Paris, Not France. The documentary is about Paris’ ascension to fame.

"I think there are a lot of people that have misconceptions about me," Paris told Access Hollywood's. "They assume I'm just a party girl and they don't realize there's a business behind it. I've created this over the past 10 years."

The Norwegian Italian American who is also of Irish ancestry grew up living in elite abodes at the Waldorf-Astoria in Manhattan, the Hamptons in New York and a Mansion in Beverly Hills, California. Some of her most notable BBFs are Nichole Richie and Kim Kardashian and it’s been reported that she went to school with Lady Gaga at one time. After transferring from one high school to another she wounded up with a GED after she got expelled for violating school rules at her last high school, Canterbury Boarding School, in New Milford, Connecticut. According to Forbes Magazine, Paris has earned $2 million in 2003, an exhilarating $6.5 million in 2005, and another breathtaking $7 million in 2006. Paris first signed with Donald Trump’s modeling agencyT Management after her child modeling days when she modeled for free. As an adult model she went on to work with Ford Models in New York, Model 1 Agency and Premier Model Management in England and Nous Model Management in Los Angeles. Before long she was all over in campaigns ads from famous brands such as GUESS, Tommy Hilfiger, Marciano and Iceberg Vodka. This made her the new ‘IT GIRL’ and she was soon being featured in several mainstream magazines.

Paris began a movie career as a cameo in movies like Ben Stiller’s 2001 ‘Zoolander’, James Cox’s 2003 movie ‘Wonderland Murders’, and Bo Welshes 2003 live – action adaptation ‘The Cat In The Hat’. She scored minor roles in Andrew Green’s 2002 horror movie ‘Nine Lives’, Garry Marshall’s 2004 comedy – drama ‘Raising Helen’, Saran Burnan’s 91 minutes film ‘The Hillz’ and Jaume Collet-Serra’s 2005 horror movie ‘House of Wax’ which she won the "TEEN CHOICE AWARD" for "best scream" and got nominated for "Choice Breakout Performance" in the female category at the 2006 MTV Movies Awards. But Paris didn’t stop there, she found a leading role in William Hein’s 2006 comedy film that went straight to DVD entitled ‘National Lampoon’s Pledge This’ and Erik MacArthur’s 2006 romantic comedy ‘Bottom’s Up’. In 2008 she blew up in the box office with Tom Putnam’s romantic comedy ‘The Hottie And The Nottie’ and she played Amber Sweet in the Goth/Rock musical ‘Repo! The Generic Opra’, (Which also featured one of her songs in the soundtrack). Paris also has an impressive TV catalogue in acting.

In 2004 Paris Hilton founded her own record label she called 'Heiress Records' which is distributed by Warner Bros. Records and released a debut album entitled ‘Paris’ in 2006. The album reached number # 6 on the Billboards 200 charts where it lasted for a week. However the total album sales was reported to have been very low even though the first single ‘Stars Are Blind’ was a top ten (10) hit in over seventeen (17) countries. In 2007 Hilton was going to record her second album (yet unnamed) with Producer Scott Scorch but told MTV later in an interview that she had changed her mind because she wanted to record a dance record with Bob Sinclar. Her debut album had been a mix of pop, dance, rock, hip hop and raga for the most part. In 2008 she released her first single entitled ‘My BBF’ at KIIS FM in LA and it became the theme song for her reality show ‘Paris Hilton’s My New BBF’. She has since released a music video for the second single of her new album which is entitled ‘Paris For President’, a song which she spun off John McCain’s attempt to smear Barak Obama when he compared Obama to the likes of her when they were running for president.

The documentary breakfronts Paris' high points in her career until raunchy behaviours were caught on tape and posted on the internet. Reports alleged, party rumours with half naked pictures of Paris, pissy drunk at wild celebrity parties as well as photos in which she unknowing sat with her legs open while wearing no underwear. She was arrested, charged and lost her drivers licence for repeated drunk driving which ended in a 36 months probation. After that, she was caught driving on suspended licence more than twice which prosecutors saw as a violation to her probation. She was sentenced to a 45 day jail time that proved to be very rough for the pampered heiress. The documentary also seems to be centered around a notorious sex tape that Paris recorded in 2003 with her ex boyfriend, Rick Solomon which caused massive ruckus on the internet and tabloids.

When asked, "Was the sex tape a [pivotal] moment in changing your life?"

She responded, "It was definitely very painful," Paris said. "When you trust someone and love someone -- for them to do that to you, it's really hard... It's something that bothers me everyday."
