FREDDY WILL™ released his second single entitled, ‘Athens Of West Africa’ from his upcoming Creole/Krio language album, (which title has not yet been announced).

‘Athens Of West Africa’ is a track that describes how Sierra Leone was once called the ‘Athens Of West Africa’. Having been the home to the British Governor General of West Africa during the colonial era Sierra Leone is the first country in the region to have had a full scale university. Fourah Bay College, the University of Sierra Leone was the ‘Athens of West Africa’ since it’s where many West Africans and their leaders received top notch education. Sierra Leone also has a slew of high profile secondary schools...

“It’s definitely a historic song. This time around I want to bring a wider and more positive awareness to Sierra Leone and its history.”
