4. Dissing 40’s Multiple Sclerosis Syndrome – Pusha T lost any chance of having my support when he dissed 40. That is, if what he said is even real. This point ties in with many of the intricacies in the United States. Things like racism, bullying, and along those lines. These problems are the main reasons we have so many school shootings. A lot of those mass murderers are people who that community picked on. 40 is one of the dopest producers in Hip Hop. If you’re going to diss him, at least be fair enough to understand the seriousness of MS., especially for an emcee who may want to give back to his community later.

If anything, Pusha T’s one-verse diss proves he’s ethically irresponsible. What is the motivation behind that energy? If I support him, I will be supporting the endangerment of a child, slut shaming, ignorance about dual citizenship, and now disrespect for people with MS? And this guy is a 40-year-old record executive who should know about corporate endorsements. He’s also blaspheming about 666, death, and going to hell in the song—that’s extreme ignorance, in my opinion. Quick research would have shown him that Toronto’s six refers to the area codes 416 and 647, not the mark of the beast.

Mocking people for their ethnicity, illness, handicap, appearance, financial status, and so on is the same as a racist person who abuses someone based on their social class, gender, sexual orientation, or race. But in a world full of sheep, you should not be surprised why many people would miss all that. These are why I’ve become more “conscious” in the last ten years. To bring an end to bigotry. Pusha T shot himself in the leg when he dissed 40 because of his illness’s physical effects on his body. That is even if it’s true. As I said earlier, Pusha T is a record exec; he runs his clothing line and can’t be rapping about selling drugs and dissing people with MS. That’s a sad look for Hip Hop.

These problems are some of the main reasons why we have so many….

3. Cross-Border Capitals – People forget that Drake is also an American. As an American Canadian, you have two complex social securities, two separate lines of credit, two distinct driver’s licenses, banking and investment portfolios, sets of assets, etc. Oh, and your healthcare game is unmatched here too. Many people are beginning to understand that a dual-American-Canadian citizen is a beast! Canada is a massive country! To flip a coin with America on one side and Canada on the other is a HUGE plus. If you already have free reign in America, to turn around and have the same in Canada, you are an automatic don. Pusha T using that as a diss further exposes how much he’s yet to learn on this issue.

Canadian-Retirement-Plans-1024x541

Everyone knows I love America, so I can’t knock it when I make this point. It’s mere facts. Moreover, that’s ignoring that most Canadians are far more psychologically evolved. I’m talking about the ability to read personalities and situations, handle money, or deal with a thot. Most Americans have not left their hood when Canadians travel a lot from an early age. The Canadian player is pretty fresh. If the American left his town or city, it was probably to visit another state in America. For a Canadian, that’s not exciting; it’s going up North for the long weekend.

Oh, and your healthcare game is unmatched here too. A lot of people are just beginning to understand that a dual American Canadian citizen…

Many (not all) Americans do not know much about other countries. Who is the president or prime minister, or what is the capital city? When I immigrated to the states, I had to teach my American friends about Sierra Leone and Liberia. And where to find them on the map. That was not the case in Canada; the Canadians already knew. World knowledge can be a huge advantage. Plus, also, you have the possibility that Americans could have access to better opportunities than guys from other countries. However, a Canadian with dual can easily slide into America, stack up and slide right back to Canada. Therefore Canadians are more connected to America than Americans are connected to Canada. Hence, if Pusha uses cross-border mention, Drake is straddling two MASSIVE lanes.

2. Slut Shame/Endangering Maybe Baby – Sure, I admit, Drake shouldn’t have mentioned Pusha T’s wife in his diss. Although knowing how strategic he is and how well he lays his traps, I can almost bet that the wifey mention was another clever bate. A good chess player does not make a great moves. It anticipates the opponent’s best action and lures them to make that move so he or she can get a checkmate. By mentioning Pusha’s wifey Drake bated him to see how much he knows about his maybe baby situation. Why is that? Because most cats are ignorant, they are brainwashed with the deadbeat dad debacle. When you know someone’s brainwashed, you can bate them into anything.

Yeah, it’s a real thing, but since the mainstream media has not force-fed that yet most of the public are still in Maury mode.

Of course, Drizzy could come out and embrace his maybe baby publically. The media would have a field day about how the mom is a porn star, but they would applaud him for being a stand-up father. That would make good press, but a responsible cat would leave that alone. Why? A sheep may ask. That is because a real cat does not want to cause his maybe baby mama to undergo slut-shaming. Not to mention a real dad will protect his kid from the public to give that child a chance to enjoy their innocence. Like DMX said, sometimes you have to get them off your lap and sit them on their ass, so they get up and walk alone. It makes me stronger or whatnot.

Maybe-Baby

And that’s if we ignore a significant men’s rights issue where some money grabber may force a well-to-do man into fatherhood. Do you know the one where a woman who does not want to be a mother can either abort or give the child up for adoption? But the man who wants the same get’s dick shamed for not using a condom? Yeah, it’s real, but most are still in ministry mode since the mainstream media has not force-fed that. ‘The lie detector test determines that you ARE the father” yayyyy! More or less, you discriminate against a man when you force him into unwanted fatherhood. And it’s misandry to call him a deadbeat dad. Anyway, it takes ten years to digest that.

A good chess player is not one who makes a great move. It’s one who anticipates the opponent’s best move and lures them to make that move…

Whatever the real backstory on Drake’s alleged maybe baby, I believe he knew that would come up in this beef. Therefore he jabbed Pusha by naming his wife so he would diss his pornstar, maybe baby mama. He even set the T shot even nicer. He dragged Pusha’s boss, Kanye (who is all Trumped up), into it knowing Ye did not only smash a multitude of thots, he dated Amber Rose and married Kim K. Drake has to look at Pusha as a small fish to fry and must know that someone is gassing him to make this attack. Therefore, when Pusha decided to endanger Drake’s maybe son by exposing him to the paparazzi, Drake set the board using Kim K as a centerpiece. If Kanye is behind this, when Drake buries Pusha, Kanye is going with him. Now if that’s not clever, then I don’t know.

1. The Dope Boy, Bad Guy Gimmick – Am I knocking the streets? Far from it! You’re either a drug dealer or an emcee, but you can’t be both. However, Pusha T is always rapping about that. Even his twin brother, No Malice, peeped that and switched up. We have a problem with gun violence and black-on-black crime, so why use your platform to promote murder? He’s a record exec who has a clothing line. Even if he were still dealing, it would be dry snitching at this point. Some brief references are okay, but not a whole song or album. Plus, those kinds of bars give the cops more ideas about how the real dealers move.

When I received the opportunity to jump in the booth and release my music, I decided to drop at least some of my 90s joints just in case people forget…

I think Pusha T came into the game in 1999 as the Clipse. He was 22/23 years old at the time. Yeah, Biggie and Pac rapped about a lot of dirt when they were younger, but realistically speaking, how much weight can a kid move between the ages of 13 and 23? It’s a 50/50 coin toss. If they moved that much, why were they in New York begging Funk Flex to play their shit? He would have been a millionaire way before “Lord Willin’.” One or two albums about that? Cool. But not every joint 20 years later. I love some of Pusha T’s music, but my problem is what’s keeping him from growing as an artist. To evolve like Kendrick or  J. Cole. Right! Drake’s lyrical content is more diversified than that of Pusha T.

The money, hoes, and clothes schemes are played out, man. When I look back at 90’s Hip Hop, that’s the one thing that ruined the art. Whenever I work with or associate with another emcee, I tell them to forget the challenging guy routine. Music is a beautiful thing. There is so much range to capitalize on symphonies and originality. Take a risk and make something new. Drake is doing that. I want to do that. I want to get into classical and more jazz, as Kendrick did with “To Pimp a Butterfly.”

We have a problem with gun violence and black on black crime so why use your platform to promote murder?

Yeah, I know; my first joint is riddled with raps about violence. If you read my first book, I wrote those lyrics years ago. When I got to jump in the booth and record my music, I dropped some of my 90s joints just in case people forgot that I used to rock like that. However, right now, I’m all about the positive vibe, making money, traveling the world, etc. Hey, bite me, but I’m going the black unification route. I’m using my platform for social and political activism, helping to move the cause to end racism, police brutality, misogyny, black-on-black crime, discrimination against men, and other forms of destructive practices.*
