I’ve released my second single entitled, “Athens Of West Africa” off my upcoming Krio language album, (which title has not yet been announced). “Athens Of West Africa” is a track that describes Sierra Leone once called the ‘Athens Of West Africa.’ Having been the home to the British Governor General of West Africa during the colonial era Sierra Leone is the first country in the region to have a full-scale university. It’s definitely a memorable song. This time around I want to bring broader and more positive awareness to Sierra Leone and her history.*
