Before I get into the DMX story I would like readers to reconnect with a line of thinking that they might be overlooking. Let’s take a look at Lady Gaga and her song called “Born This Way”. Some of the lyrics to the song goes a little something like this –

“It doesn't matter if you love him or capital H-I-M… 'cause you were Born This Way, Baby

Now, correct me if I’m wrong. But this song is a justification of what some may see as Lady Gaga's cultural deviance; right? Is Lady Gaga a deviant singer asking her audience to accept her the way she is? In this song she is urging us not to JUDGE her simply because of sexual preference or deviant appearances; why? Because she was ‘born this way’. We are to accept her however she is regardless of our own morals since GOD is perfect, therefore HE must not have made a mistake when He made her that way. That't the message in this song.

Can a rapper proclaim the same message with bling, 24 inch rims, loud bottle popping in nightclubs, gambling and use of profanities? These are all deviant behaviors, right? Aren't these the main reasons why rappers lost respect? People condemned the deviant attitudes that give rappers street credibility. From being a player to a pimp to a hustler hailing from the ghetto singing songs about sex and weapons while condemning homosexuality. Proclaiming a macho lifestyle dotted with street crime using the excuse that many are deprived from equal opportunities in society or by expressing a rebelion against brainwash in conspiracy theories. That's a rapper's tale - it's a prison song. And because we wear diamonds and pay rumshakers to dance half naked in our music videos we came to be seen as misoganistic criminals instead of talented artists. But most people would love to wear diamonds too and many envied the rapper's wealth.

For a rapper, (like myself) deciding to write these lengthy blogs simply attests to the extent to which our image is being tainted in the media. I don't only have to be talented in my music I also have to use the internet to defend my genre from willful misinterpretation or an unknowing misunderstooding of the lyrics. When Osama Bin Laden was captured and killed in Pakistan the White House said Pakistani authorities either knew he was hiding in their country or their intelligence agency is incompetent when it comes to investigating such issues. I am utilizing the same thought process here. We too can be accepted the way we are because we were also born the way we are. No need to change who we are if we are going by Lady Gaga's theory, there is no reason why Hip Hop should be modified to meet the needs of a few inside outsiders.

Yes, I’m crazy about Hip Hop. I’ve lived my whole life promoting not only rap music but the culture of Hip Hop itself. I have called out TV shows, radio programs and music genres that rip elements from Hip Hop to promote their own schema. Genres are stealing slang language, music formatting, fashion and business techniques from rappers. If you couple that with negative press the end result is a discouragement. This is why you see a lot of fakes artists out there right now. 'Pop' artists who rap with Hip Hop trims, dance African moves and have their own perfume line. People are afraid to identify with who they are within the real essence of Hip Hop simply because they want to be accepted by everyone. So they adapt a watered down brand of the culture. If Lady Gaga and the likes of her are expected to be born that way then why not a rapper living out his Hip Hop dream? This is clearly not a question of right and wrong but rather, it is about what one wishes to do regardless of what is deemed right or wrong.

Ask yourself these questions, “why is it that whenever a rap artist achieves worldwide singularity he or she is either killed or sent to prison? Was he or she not ‘Born That Way” just like Lady Gaga? What happened to rehab or all the usual form of slaps on the wrist that other celebrities get? Most rappers are rich and famous like Hollywood celebrities but their celebrity is never hailed the same way. Judicial systems have a bias that makes no delays in smacking a rap artist with a heavy hand should he or she get suspected of anything questionable. And use the media is a tool that can be used to tarnish the rappers image instantly. But why go through that length just to tear an artist away from his or her success?

There is even a Hip Hop task force called the Hip Hop police that is dedicated to tear down any rap artist who grows too successful. This task force goes undercover, tapping phones, bugging cars, trailing us in nightclubs, obtaining employment in the camp while acting as a spy. Some female cops even go as far as a romantic relationship just to investigate the artist. Our grate-grand and grandparents inherited a world taught to fear GOD and his commandments; right? This is why people frown upon a street lifestyle. After all, besides the crime insinuations within the lifestyle there is also a huge room for sin as well. Which is why it is seen as a deviant lifestyle in this circular culture. But now we see other forms of deviances in circular culture. Younger kids are clubbing more, using hard drugs, having random babies, smoking and drinking heavily and partaking in mature activities that their elders didn't experience until after they got married.

There had to have been a social, political or religious mentality that frowned on fornication in favor of marriage, homosexuals in favor of heterosexuals, ethical discipline as opposed to corruption and so on. But what is good morals anymore? What's the basis for the need of equality? Are there any saints? Why will someone be called a bastard? How did that word come to exist? A whore or a slut…a nigger... what line of thinking lead to the creation of these horrible words? There had to have been a thought process deemed righteous that caused a distinction between good and evil. But over time generations have come to question that reasoning. This new culture lifts previous bans on taboos. Is this not what Lady Gaga wants when she says she was born this way? H-I-M had to be an inference to a GOD or Superior Being who makes rules that her likes are opposed to; right?

Here is a credible rap artist. One who has earned the respect of Hip Hop but for some reason is always targeted for destruction through the justice system. Media deliberately airs negative views of his character, matched with distasteful mugshots intended to damage his image. Once DMX was arrested and before he arrived in court, media personels were already there. How did they find out that DMX had been arrested? Why were they so urgent to air his arrest? Because he is a rap artist. They went on to film his arraignment against his wish and the footage was aired on TMZ. The last two rappers with this amount of crediblity were both killed in staged driveby shootings. Everyone knows that Tupac and Biggie were assassinated to cripple the growth of Hip Hop. T.I, Lil Wayne, DMX, Shyne, Scarface, Beanie Sigel, not to mentiong Big Pun, Proof and Big L etc are all credible rappers who were targeted in some form of the media at some point.

I know what you are going to say if you don't get this. My thought process must be twisted if I expect convicted criminals to be prosperous in society. Your minds have been tuned in sync with the system you live in and as far as you are concerned, life is like a cookie cutter – you get what you earned. But these are artists. If someone is poor it has to be their fault because they probably didn’t work hard enough but if they’re rich they automatically ought to have everyone’s respect regardless of how they made money… that’s how most people look at life today! - A happy person is one who has a lot of money and material possessions along with affluent connections and poverty is only brought upon the unwelcome and unlucky. People can no longer seperate the artist from the art and the art and is not used to get a better artist.

Then there are people who believe that SIN cannot be avoided. Many believe that law makers and enforcers brake the lawstoo. But more punishment goes to ordinary citizens far more often than breaking the law exist. Therefore, every man is a target and every woman a potential mate. Some people respect authority figures in the name of order but are not swayed by every ideal since morality is a relative concept. To each its own. Laws can be restrictions on the timid to enables the bold to thrive and some laws ensure that there is order in the society. One has to know the difference between the two. It brings us back to the subject of social, political and religious deviance. If there is a deviant lifestyle then there has to be a higher power that considers that behavior a deviance. Once that entity decides that the behavior is no longer deviant then what happens? Who gets to say what is good and when that good becomes bad or bad becomes good? Take marijuana for example. What happens when and if it gets legalized?

Hip Hop is a culture based on psychological freedom from restrictions put in place by either politics, religion or ethical hypocrisy which then enables some people to thrive while others are kept at bay. And that is what we put in our music/ who needs another man's approval to determine if you succeed in life? At the end of the day we are who we are because we too were born this way and our fate is in our own hands.

Is it true?
Are we headed for a new Godless era?
Are western governments really seeking to merge through occult,
military and psychological manipulations using the economy as a driving force
to control our minds while establishing a global federation?

Why is there an ANTI-CHRIST?
But there is no symbols of ANTI-BUDDHA,
ANTI-GANDHI, or ANTI-MOHAMMED conspiracies?
Is there a conspiracy against Christian values such as marriage?

Who wants to change your religious and moral views through your music?
Who runs Hollywood, the Council On Foreign Relations, the United Nations,
Wall Street, major world corporations, local governments, et cetera?
Here is what I've found on the subjective!!!

I’ve tried to stay away from the notion that somehow there are elicit family dynasties that run this world in totality. I've always believed that people have their choice of religion (whatever it is) and it never bothered me what the choice of religion is or was for other people. I’m very aware of royal kingdoms like the British, the French and the Saudis for example.  And I'm aware of the imperial-like government systems in Israel, the United States and Russian which in some way, shape or form, by one way or another, are either connected to Christianity, Islam or Judaism. But I hadn’t looked at them as being intentionally "evil" against mankind. I've always avoided the topic of religion until now. A long time ago, based on my observations, I came to two honest conclusions about religion and death. And they are;

- No one can tell you which religion is the absolute true religion without being bias to the teachings of their conviction.

– No one has proven what happens beyond the grave; no one knows for sure if there is really a soul or a God or a Satan or which one is good for sure and which one is intentionally evil as no one can provide physical proof to any of these theories.


                                                   Have faith

The main thing I kept getting was the concept of blind 'faith" or the lack there of; and I found it very disturbing especially when considering the factors that could weigh up against such faith or the lack thereof. As a result I came to see religion as a game of chance - worship your God (or gods) of conviction knowing that there is some degree of possibility that you may be wrong or do not worship anyone or anything at all and face a chance for eternal damnation. It's up to the individual's conscience to decide which path they are willing to follow. The only things I found to be certain were the inevitability of death and the fact that God or spirits are unseen to most people on earth.  Yet, I chose to worship God even if I was wrong hoping that the by His mercy I could escape eternal damnation.

But why must politics be connected to religion when each of us come from different religious backgrounds but politically we only need one government at any given time? Miracles happen; I can testify to that. There is magick in the air, everyone who is anyone knows that. There are evidences that support such claims as astral projection, witchcraft and many other forms of spiritual interactions that connect humans with their universe. However, I have come to chalk them off as part of the convolution of humanity as I could not honestly rule out the likelihood of coincidence. And that's why even though I acknowledge that there is a God somewhere, I am also not overly religious. Until I see concrete evidence or get some reasonable explanations to many of these theories, I will give thanks to the maker and let that be just about that.

For these reason it is difficult for me to picture Bill Clinton or Prince William and the Kennedys, among various accused; I've had an obscurity of vision, trying to picture them at a demonic alter somewhere inside a gloomy underground cave honoring Satan by slaughtering an innocent baby to drink its blood in a ritual that ensures a new world order. Considering what I know about blood, hormones, hereditary diseases, cholesterol, DNA etc I know I wouldn't’t want to drink anyone’s blood and I doubt that they would either. I’ve had a problem with this notion that occult is rising up as a new age universal religion. I think people have always used occult means to worship or honor their deities from the beginning of time and they will do so until the end of time. But I don't want to accept that someone elses choice of religion can have any lasting affect me in my future.

And yet as I researched materials for an upcoming book I kept ending up at this juncture. My studies are continuing to lead me to this topic of occult, government conspiracies and the new world order; no matter what angle I approach it from. I’m fully aware of the existence of secret cults and secret societies. In Africa, I know that for a fact, it is customary for the vast majority, be they men or women to already be openly inducted into a secret society at birth or right at the beginning of puberty. I wouldn't have cared much for the subject if upon further research I hadn't found that though these claims may be outrageous there are some obvious elements of suspicion. Are we sleeping while others are awake?

What's the urgency in these senseless wars over the control of oil, drugs and diamonds? Why the sudden economic downturn that enables the rich to get richer while the poor keeps getting poorer? What's with forceful political systems around the world? What's the reasoning behind the need for a stock market and the up keeping of these somewhat biased banking institutions? What's the goal in the music industry's glorification of materialism and the purpose behind Hollywood brainwashing of the public and so forth? I came up on this website called www.jesus-is-savior.com and I was shocked at what I found there. I decided to share some of its contents with you guys so that you can make your own judgment on this subject. (The subject is so extensive, I'll have to do this blog in two (2) parts). The following are exerted from the website and I quote:

To be honest, I have no opinion on this subject but if this has been going on for centuries then how can it be new? If I did have an opinion it wouldn't be based on perspectives from my religion. However, when I read this part (above) I asked myself this; if the bible already said that Satan is the god of this world, why then does he or she or they need to hid in darkness to perform their deeds in a world that is already his or theirs? In my opinion if he already owns the world why hide in it? So I concluded that they might not be hidden; private, maybe but not hidden. - FREDDY WILL

What may these people have in common by using the devil's horn sign?

Again, I've asked myself; why is a superrich global dynasty concerned with helping an anti-Christ knowing they won’t be around when that anti- Christ arrives? It must take a lot of dedication to want to prepare the future for someone else. What if the anti-Christ was already here? What if the anti-Christ already came and left? For one, if he is the "man of sin" and sin is everywhere right now, why delay his coming? I’ve noticed a surge of mainstream interest in Egyptology - even the Queen of England throws up the ‘devil's horns," a hand sign that US presidents have been photographed waving to the public or greeting foreign diplomats with. The same one that musicians and actors like Gene Simmons and Spiderman have used quite often. Yes, Spiderman, the animation character, throws up the "devil's horns" too.

I don’t understand why the Prince of England would be throwing the same hand signs that the Iranian president, Ahmadinajad throws up and why would George Bush feel the same urge to throw up that particular hand sign. The class of people, the occupation, the religious backgrounds are all poles apart and they they all share this one trait in common. Does this hand sign mean something more than just a simple hand gesture? Are its users identifying themselves as belonging to a particular cult? In every movie I’ve watched, lately, there is either the classic symbol of the eye of horis or a quick flash of the ‘devil's horns.’ Checkered board patters are showing up everywhere and lately, pop singers seem to have a thing for snakes, cats, falcons and even owls (animals once associated with evil). I consider myself to be a Christian by religion but I also have enormous respects for every other religions out there. I was once introduced to the Pentecostal doctrines but I've experienced more Catholic, Methodist and Baptist doctrines due to the schools I attended. I’ve always been skeptical of the Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Mormons but I've maintained a positive attitude towards all religions starting from the Rastafarian right through to the Buddhist, Hindu, Jew, Muslim and even the Satanist or pagan religions because I never judge anyone's religion. Who am I to judge people by their religion? Who you worship is who you worship. But in the end, I'd have to say I was completely floored when I saw names like Oral Roberts and Billy Graham on this list of false prophets.

I couldn't’t help but wonder. For once, was David J. Stewart speaking based on his own religious views only? His attacks on those other Christian denominations that he said are associated with ‘Freemasons’ had solid grounding because it can be argued that religion should be an honest relationship between one and their maker; that if one was going to be completely open about it, then they needed to be honest about who they truly are? If not then it's best they keep quiet and allow others to live in peace. Why proclaim one thing and then go in the dark and practice what you've condemned?

But if for monetary reasons one needed to hide their involvement in a cult, the church would be the perfect place to hide; right behind the cross sitting next to the bucket of holy water by the alter of Christ. That would be the perfect place to conceal your guilt. And if you take a closer look at the people named in Steward's list, these preachers were notoriously known to be self righteous. Oral Roberts spoke as if he knew he was going to heaven without any doubt. I was relieved that Stewart didn't add Jimmy Swaggart to the list as the weepy preacher had a well exposed weakness for massage parlors and call-girls. Swaggart that is.

Stewart's argument is, if ‘freemasonry’ is an occult organization and Christianity is an anti-occult organization then Christians who belong to occult organizations cannot possibly be genuine since they associate with ‘Freemasons.' Therefore, ‘Freemason’ Christians, according to this website, are all false prophets. I'd say everyone has their weakness. For some it's lying while others might fornicate, some may steal and others may commit adultly, some may join shady organizations while others may drink and be full of anger and rage. Some may be boastful and proud and some are drug addicts and murderers or all of the above. Everyone has that one thing that makes them sinful. My only question becomes; what’s the correct alternative? If occult is used to accomplish goals like the new world order with which superrich dynasties enthrone themselves then what’s that special protection against its infiltration? In a way the enlightenment makes you feel bare, which in order words if you take heed, would result in joining up with the most powerful organization ASAP. – FREDDY WILL.

The Bible also says that God wills… {For this is the will of God, even your sanctification} (1^st Thessalonians 4:3). Knowledge, emotion and will are the traits of personality. God is not some cloudy, hazy, indefinite, blindly operating, omnipotent Force. God is a living, loving Person who speaks and hears and blesses...

Even the name ‘New World Translation’ is incriminating evidence. Westcott and Hort were also ghost chasers. Only a fool would embrace the New International Version [NIV] Bible considering the fact that the name of Jesus has been removed in 38 places. The NIV was published in part by homosexuals. By the way, the owner of the exclusive printing rights to the NIV, Rupert Murdoch, was just made a Knight by the Pope. Murdoch had put the NIV under the same umbrella as the TV Guide, which he also owned. The Pope is also a part of the demonic New World Order.

This is not the first time I’ve heard of the illuminati. I'd noticed that the bible is very useless and contradicting for such a holy book. The answer to that question actually eased my suspicions that the real bible may have been swapped for this old English story book because if you take into account all the miracles that Jesus, his disciples and the prophets performed in the bible, how come there are no directions in the bible on how to perform those miracles?

There had to be some special powerful rituals in the real bible if it was gonna be the blueprint to the Christian religion. I’ve read several books, websites and blogs on the subject from various points of view and I’ve developed an eye for the signs associated with it. No one has openly admitted to it and no one has been very clear about its functions. Never quite understood the concept of today's government either and I'm quite sure if you happen to walk on water and heal the blind, def and dumb the government will not be so fond of you. I’ve never really seen any TRUTH in the law. The constitution as a genuine document but it is not always followed by those who wrote it. Take democracy for example; government by the people for the people; how can that be true when the people are not the authorities? The Gettysburg saying should have been government by the government for the government and the religious should have wondered where did God go.

First of all, for those who don't know what 'lingo' means, 'lingo' is a Hip Hop word which means slang language. I know people are gonna say the producers of Jersey Shore were looking for a specific brand. But equally so, we have to be conscious of the psychological impact the show has on the public. The media claims Jersey Show has started a new trend of slang talk; but if you look closely, you would see that their trend was already established by Hip Hop music and culture. In fact, when Hip Hop established some of these trends white America frowned on them. But now that a reality show called Jersey Shore  is doing the same thing, because they are not dancing to rap music, they are being promoted as trend setters? The same can be said for the 'Real Housewives of New Jersey'. The real housewives of New Jersey are not only Italian women.

New Jersey is a multi-cultural state with people from different cultures and backgrounds.

I don't know about you but I think 'name' is very important. It is wrong to name a show after an entire state when it represents only one out of at least five different cultures in that state. No, it's not just a show. Speaking as a Jersey dude, I'll never agree with why the public has failed to distinguish between the reality show, “Jersey Shore” and its cheap imitation of Hip Hop lifestyle. The lifestyle, the dress code, mentality and especially the slang; are all ripped off from Hip Hop. They swapped the music from Hip Hop and R&B to dance music and made it look like they've created a new culture. But in reality they did not.

Of course, it was easy for the producers of the show to accomplish that. Caucasian parties in New Jersey go esssentially cop-free. Caucasian party goers engage in public lewd behaviors freely, have reckless sex with random mates through excessive drinking while dancing the night wildly away smoking and abusing drugs; and it is seldom that they have to deal with the police. In their case it will take a distress call or tragedy in order to face the law. The same cannot be said when African-Americans gather with loud rap music. The NJPD storms in and shuts the party down before it even starts. If not, they hang around in the corners closest to the party location patiently waiting for party goers to leave so that they can bust them for something. Many Hip Hop clubs got harassed into closure that way and many Hip Hop slang got rejected from public acceptance when they became popular...

Culturally, in New Jersey there are two distinct groups of people;


                                African-American woman and man. They are not related.

1. African-Americans - people from Africa, the Caribbean and descendants of ex-African slaves who are either permanent residents or citizens of New Jersey. Typical stereotype about successful black men sometimes involve the notion of poverty, gangster rap or drug deals which are often found to be untrue. There are many African-Americans who were born or immigrated to the state of New Jersey from other parts of America as well as the rest of the world and they are highly educated people who do not engage in rap music or drug dealing..

Italian-American man and woman. They are not related.

2. Italian-Americans – descendants of Italian immigrants or natural born European immigrants as well as some Jewish and/or Caucasians in general, residents or citizens of New Jersey. Typical stereotype about successful Italian men sometimes involves the notion of a Mafia/mob crime syndicate which is often found to be untrue. There are many Italians who are not involved in any sort of crime lifestyles.

NOTE: It is very important to note that New Jersey citizens come from various parts of the world including the Middle East, South America, East Europe, Australia and Asia. However, whenever New Jersey culture is represented on TV there seems to be this need to put forward an Italian brand. There is a rather large Spanish/Hispanic community in New Jersey as well and not once have we seen that part of New Jersey being equally praised or honored publicly.

NOTE: It is also very important to note that this blog is written to set the record straight - that the misleading perceptions that New Jersey is a brand of ‘Italy’ is completely false. This blog is not a dis to Italians. I love Italian culture and everything about Italians, but I want to make it clear that New Jersey is not a brand of Italy.

MERITS & DEMERITS OF AFRICAN-AMERICANS
AND ITALIAN-AMERICANS IN NEW JERSEY

The major difference between Italian-Americans and African-Americans in New Jersey is where they originated from. One is a continent and the other one is a country. Obviously African-Americans originated from Africa, a continent with several countries bearing different cultures, languages and traditions including but not limited to Egypt, Timbuktu, Ghana and South Africa. Italian-Americans originated from Italy, a European country with its own distinct language, culture and traditions prominent to their history dating back to the Roman Empire.

Italian immigrants being Caucasians have the advantage of not being totally affected by racism in America. Thereby they establish strong connections within high level government and law enforcement agencies as well as within other Caucasian communities. This gives them an edge when it comes to first jump at new opportunities or possibilities within the state. For example, running for mayor or governor or acquiring high level jobs or maintaining a successful private business with loyal customers.

A favor for a favor.

African immigrants being black in a country with a history of racism tend to depend on their talents and physical abilities in order to thrive. This is not to say Italians have no talent or Africans have no connections. There are many talented Italians in New Jersey. All I’m saying is for the most part Italians will depend on their contacts while Africans depend on their talent.

One good example? - A 23 year old from both groups (African-American and Italian-American) wants to drive the same late model Ford Mustang. The Italian-American more often than likely, will be from a middle class family with the right contacts to either afford the Mustang out rightly or hook up with a job that will eventually facilitate in the purchase of that dream car. The African-American who wants the same ride in New Jersey, probably less opportune with fewer or no connections may be an admired athlete or musician who hustles with a bright future. Or he or she may be in love with a Caucasian who may co-sign. Granted in each scenario there are those who misuse the opportunity.

Either way, whether it’s by working hundreds of hours or by being the lucky recipient of a trust fund or straight up car jacking the Mustang and chop shopping it, both the Italian-American and the African-American will end up with that dream car. However, the Italian-American may get more out of the ride since Police patrols in Caucasian neighborhoods in New Jersey usually do not slam Caucasian residents with license-threatening traffic violations. But in black neighborhoods the African-American with the same car may not drive the dream car in peace. Police patrols will trail them around town until the driver receives the long dreaded traffic violation that ultimately sees their license go bye, bye. Black people in New Jersey depend heavily on their individual talents while the Caucasians which most likely blends in as an Italian will depend on the bond they have and their connections behind the scenes.

Hip Hop is original.

Now, African-Americans are hip social innovators of creative, attractive and stylish trends. Therefore, regardless of the fact that they are generally subdued to ghetto neighborhoods ignored or sometimes targeted, their talent always provides a ticket to get out of dodge. African-American through Hip Hop culture have even influenced other music genres like pop and techno cultures leading to a rise the acceptance of black cultures and inter-racial dating. We (black people are exceptionally skilled in numerous sports or generally anything that cannot be bribed.

Whenever African-Americans create a trend the Caucasians copy it and gradually form a Caucasian version of that brand or trend. This is why even though there are thousands of black people living at New Jersey Shore and there are thousands of African-American, Hispanic-American and Asian-American housewives in New Jersey, in the reality TV Show they portray New Jersey’s Real Housewives as pampered, sex starved Italian women or insecure Italian brats with fake body parts.

It’s simply a misleading perception being put out there. And sadly there is no one on any of those TV production sets who have the conscience to ask ‘hey, why isn’t there a black, Spanish or Asian member on the Jersey Shore cast or the casts of the "Real Housewives of New Jersey?” They have conveniently matched the word New Jersey with Italian while extracting the shows content from trends in all the other cultural groups in the state. Most common elements of hip hop culture are being ripped off allowing a fake brand to be created that was once censored when blacks did it.

I’m going to list some of the so-called “new” slang and trends from Jersey Shore and the Real Housewives Of New Jersey and show you how the idea was shamelessly ripped from Hip Hop culture without giving credit to African-Americans. Keep in mind, they all want to be as tanned a possible showing that they admire a darker skin complexion similar to blacks (even if they don't admit it).

1. GUIDO/NIGGA - Tell me, how is this not obvious? Just because the N-word raises controversy don't mean guido being used in pop culture is not a rip off from it. So it's ok to use the word 'guido' to represent a Caucasian stud but if a black guy calls his friend his nigga he the nigga is not seen as a stud but instead frowned on? An I Italian cannot call an African nigga and an African cannot call an Italian Guido. You can't say nigga in a song on the radio but we've got people calling each other guidos on national TV? Nas had to leave his album untitled because they won't let him title it 'NIGGER'. The war is against media restrain of of Hip Hop trends. If they can stop it from spreading the way rappers intend for it to be seen they essentially prevent rappers from being role models. But the same media is comfortable with the spread a rip offs from Hip Hop.

2. GTL/GANGSTA PHYSIC - Gym, Tan, Laundry is a rip off from the rap slang, 'gangsta physic'. Every African-American knows to maintain a gangsta physic. Nice one Mr. Snitchuations but your name is a hip hop slang in itself. From Disco to Break Dance to R&B and Rap black people have always put emphasis in their looks. Do you see Nelly's abs? Diddy's shades, 50 Cent's 'Gangsta physic'. How is that a new trend by Jersey Shore? We've been doing that for years and years but the public frowned on us calling us materialistic because we added bling to the gangsta physic. But a group of Italian wannabe in New Jersey does it on a TV show and now it suddenly becomes a trend? Why, because the media is happy to talk about it?

3. JUICE HEAD/DIESEL - Now juice head is a classic one. First of all steroids will shrink your penis. And secondly, it is illegal. If you use it or are associated with it no matter how cool you are, in Hip Hop you will be considered a shrunk dick or an 'air head'. So unless they legalized it without me knowing, how in the world is it even cool to attribute steroids with sex appeal? In Hip Hop we say 'diesel' when a dude's gangsta physic goes beyond average. But as usual when rappers used the word diesel they were looked at as if they were crazy. But now some techno loving hip hop wannabe took the idea and it suddenly becomes a trend.

4. VIBE - Ah hello? I'm not even gonna waste time on this one. Vibe is totally a Hip Hop slang, get it right. We invented that shit! It's a word we use to describe physical chemistry between two people. Jersey Shores' techno corn-balls did not come up with that term. By the way, techno is fucking corny! Real gz don't dance to techno music and we don't wear tight pants. Please go listen to R. Kelly's 12 Play album. You will see clearly that 'grinding' and 'vibe' have been established terms and slag in Hip Hop way before the year 2000.

5. SoCo - They even got a drink. Haha, didn't Lil Wayne get in trouble for sipping on syrup? What about Hennessey, Remy, Grey Goose, Patron, E&J Brandy (we called Easy Jesus), Sisco, Tango Ray, the list of drinks (that rappers have been rapping about and drinking) can go on and on. Jersey Shore casts did not invent that either. We've been doing that!

6. POUF/WAVES - You know the du-rags that rappers wear? Yes, the one they've been trying to get us to stop wearing. It's there to maintain wave in our hair. From dreads to braids to bold and trimming our beards in a gostee, shin strap or peach fuzz, all are parts of the package. Come the fuck on, they're trying to put white boys on the map. White girls are falling for niggas and guidos are losing that fight to niggas. They can't handle it. These people think they're slick. They take a white boy, slap on some hair gel and spike his hair up or pat it down then they go in the media using a TV show to sell the image so white girls can find them attractive? That POUF shit is corny too and the idea is a rip off.

7. GRENADE - Now it's ok to dis fat girls and get a wing man to take the grenade so the guido can score with her hot friend? Rappers have been rapping about that for ages! Wing man is what we mean when we say homie. Ever heard of Slick Rick? Snoop Dogg, Too Short, L L Cool J? What's wrong with these people? When Hip Hop did it what did they say? They said we are misogynistic, they said we are being disrespectful to women and condemned radio stations for playing our songs. Now there is a TV show with drunken Caucasians doing the same thing and the media does not taint them as misogynists? In Hip Hop we use bitches and hos in context, techno they use grenade and landmines as direct insults.

8. FUGAZI - Fuggazi is a Hip Hop term used to discribe a knock off. Everyone knows you can't be a gay rapper. In Hip Hop, homophobia is a plus. It's not only bad to be seen 'gay' it's shameful. You lose some serious street cred or cool points if you turned out to be gay. That's where this word came from. Maybe that's why the media refuses to depict Hip Hop with the proper respect that it demands. Because a real rapper is supposed to be homophobic. Homo lifestyle is sweeping the mainstream industry right now. It's almost a crime to be openly against it. It's a death sentence when a signed entertainer openly professes that they do not support a homo lifestyle or trans gender. But Hip Hop stands alone, it is resilient and we do not believe that it's masculine for men to bend over and take anything in the anus. So when you come out with something fake we relate it to that. We call it a fugazi because it's just as repulsive as a man who performs irrumatio on another man or two mustaches kissing or a man being so weak he allows another man to fuck him in the ass. In Hip Hop homo sex is a form of bullying.

Fugazi. This word was frowned upon when rappers used it. The media never caught a frenzy over any of our slang but as soon as some white kids go down to the shores of New Jersey on a TV show using that same word all of a sudden it trend worthy?

9. CREEP - All I have to say about this one is TLC. Yes, people, just go on youtube and search for TLC's song CREEP. It's so Hip Hop it's not even funny.

10. If 'Jersey Shore' wants to get my respect they have to be original. If not they have to know the history behind what they claim to have started because we are still mad that Tupac got killed. We are mad that Biggie got killed. We don't appreciate the media deliberately tainting Hip Hop's image to the public. We don't appreciate that our culture is being exploited by people who would rather see us gone. Hip Hop lifestyle was tainted as a bad lifestyle so we won't just sit by and watch the same people come in a disguise and take the money that we should be making.

THE CORRECT LOOK FOR A REAL HIP-HOP HEAD

Without first attempting to understand it - the madness behind its controversial lyrics, self expressive clothing, luxury cars and SUVs, boisterous strut, profane language, expensive jewelry, alluring tattoos, money, and ghetto lifestyle portrayed in some forms of rap music caused it to be categorized as a wayward form of music suitable only for wayward outcasts who should be confined to classless communities. Secondly, people who could not participate in the new influential culture due to their own social and moral obligations, had choice words against those who could. What's what in hip hop that could not be ignored? I think the intelligent message and the organized structure within this lawless genre/culture spread it like a new religion and that social relevance led its counterparts to fear its power."

The misconception

"While hip hop is not there for the wrong reasons, there are significant elements within this genre which are blueprints for true hip hoppers who don't mind being misunderstood. A true hip hop head knows not to compromise with non-hip hop influences. The head nod, the attitude, the fobia and the message of lyrical defiance have very distinct importance in this culture. To the hip hopper the values in the essence of rap is higher than anything in music while it remains more than just music. Standard traits cannot and should never be altered because – hip hop is a way of life and not only a trend. When you alter your hip hop lifestyle to fit someone else's mold, you get everything else but hip hop. The essence of true hip hop is in the culture and that should never be compromised." - FREDDY WILL

Some may not agree with me but many do. Believe it when I tell you; today, real hip hop has been altered. Why? Because from within hip hop communities around the world to pop, within the last fifteen years, gradually, fans have been weaned off the classic brand of hip hop and fed with a soul-less, blues-less, R&B-less brand of pop rap under the guise of hip hop. Greedy record companies use misleading record sale and gimmicks to exploit the culture for money.

Having been 'guilted' into thinking that the original hip hop mentality is shameful, many opted for new fads which were subtly presented as an alternative to the real thing. Only, these fads are dreams which never really come true.

In pursuit of affluence label heads and some big name artists sold out when they agreed to present fans with alternative/pop with rap as a commercial brand for classic hip hop.  Hence, it is sad to say that the love of fame and money, caused the true essence of what was once an influential culture to be watered down in exchanged for what's deemed suitable for a fortunate few who had nothing to  gain from hip hop in its original state.

I think this is what Nas meant when he said "Hip Hop Is Dead."

It’s easy to argue that as time changes so should hip hop but true hip hop will always change the times and not be changed by the times. This culture evolved as an unconventional platform where rap artists presented an uncontaminated insight to social living. An insight that came directly from their instincts based on their life experiences. However, today, with the rise of emboldened feminist and pro-homosexual movements many activist feared their future was threatened by the influence of original hip hop. Thus, they counteracted seeking to restrain fans' access to rap music that belittled their lifestyle where fans freely received that message. In the end, fans no longer have the freedom to choose what they listen to. From then on fans became spoon fed with a refined version of hip hop which is poles apart from the real thing.

Various psychological maneuvers were used to sway the minds of the public such as pro-gay bits in sitcoms with hip hop connotations, hip hop condemning talk shows and anti gangster rap rallies used to persuade major music distributors from meeting this demand for rap. A hip hop smear was publicized with intent to associate the genre with bummy goons, irrational slum mobsters and stone cold murdering, misogamists and anti-gay thugs who enjoyed the music. Allegedly it was suggested that hip hop misleads generations hailing a life of crime and social arnachy. This toe-tagged hip hop as a perverse genre which promotes a life of profane criminality because of some rappers' references to drug violence and use of slang such as ‘faggot’ and ‘bitch/ho’ while records with songs about previous lives in gangs were released. In all these accusations, conveniently, the artistry and skill of rap was ignored as well as the sense of humor encapsulated in profanities used within slang language.


                                       Mind control

I write for two reasons, (1) to help prove that hip hop/rappers are not always the brain dead illiterate idiots they were once portrayed to be, and (2) to create a place for the real story to be heard. If you notice in all my writings, I don't use Eboniks, I spell properly, use as good a grammar as possible and I’m here to tell you that hip hop is more than just becoming a thug or common criminal as portrayed in gangster movies of the 90's. I will inform you that criminal acts are committed by every creed of people on the planet and the only reason why some people criticize hip hop culture is because it wipes out their business interest. They cannot make money when hip hop is at its peak. Over the years, many attempts were made to destroy hip hop culture. In my opinion, the final attempt to destroy hip hop came by creating the possibility for albums to be leaked over the internet.

This ignorance completely overshadowed the intelligence of rap. It is almost as if these damning attempts drew attention away from the success that the trend changing genre brought to its people. That was initially intended to prevent rappers who would otherwise be jobless poppers from getting filthy rich through a hip hop career. This is why rappers got creative and incorporated clothing lines, liquor lines, book writing, cologne and perfume lines, sneaker lines, jewelry lines and so on, to their brand. So you may doubt me and ask why anyone would care so much as to destroy a genre that generates so much money? The answer is because hip hop culture is influential. The most powerful resource on the planet is the human mind and hip hop has a good grip on that. Hip hop is not the only thing interested in the control of people’s way of thinking.

Before hip hop became a world phenomenon it used to be that black communities and minority communities like the Spanish and East Indian communities were segregated and basically stuck in poverty. That’s where the term ‘ tha hood’ came from. How was this segregation made possible you may ask?… By denying black people from quality education, by not hiring black people into good paying jobs, by denying black people from credit, by pulling young black men over as they drive and giving them unwarranted traffic tickets to have an excuse to take away their driver’s license, by sending black men to prison for long time periods or murdering black men through police brutality when they commit the same crimes that white men got a slap on the wrist for. ETC. These actions prevented black people from participating fully in the American dream regardless of their hard work. Therefore, future generations of black communities could not develop and since they too had no access to good paying or stable jobs and no access to proper education and limited opportunities.

The black community came up with hip hop as an entertainment art form which shed light on injustices against minorities. And it worked. Pretty soon, that black guy who could not get a stable job anywhere in the community was suddenly rich from selling mixtapes and rap albums. Some even became movie stars. Now he could afford to move from the ‘hood’ to a much conducive neighborhood. Pretty soon he could send his kids to private school and provide for his family. Pretty soon he could afford a lawyer to fight away that unwarranted traffic ticket and he could date that daddy’s little princess whom he would have never met. Hip hop broke down the walls of segregation. White families who passed down raciest beliefs of hatred against blacks and minorities to their children could no longer do that successfully because their kids loved hip hop music and through it they learned that blacks and minorities are not who they were being tainted as. Pretty soon corporate America came to terms with these same black hip hop artists’ bringing lucrative offers, hoping to cash in on the hip hop brand. But The power of money was used to exploit hip hop culture by perpetuating a believable gangster/crime lifestyle to promote sales. The new exploitation caught on with the public and pretty soon every rapper was rapping about the ghetto and singing songs about a mafia like lifestyle.

The truth is, people who were always denied from pleasure suddenly became rich. Some tend to go crazy with the spending. They buy fancy things to show off their new found wealth. For people from black communities those things primarily are diamond chains, gold teeth, diamond rings, diamond earrings, leather jackets, expensive cars and timberland boots. Having these items were previously seen as a sign of success for black men of those times who did not have the opportunities that hip hop has given us today. Yes, there were criminals in the ‘hood’. But crime was seen as a way to support families. It was seen as a ‘hustle’. That hopeless black man who could not land that great job, or credit, or afford to support himself would turn to drug dealing, pimping, and/or sports and music and then become financially stable.

Those were the only outlets for black men to become successful in a white man’s world. That’s why it is seen as a complete betrayal to ‘snitch’ on someone. Cops were seen as white enforcers of a racist authoritative system which keeps the black community in shambles. Therefore black men who had turned to crime as a way to elevate themselves financially saw ‘snitching’ as the most barbaric form of betrayal. Such a betrayal could even lead to death or justify the murder of that snitch. And so today all those real life scenarios which got exploited on TV and through music by corporate America, became trends that are now associated with hip hop. This became true when silver spoon-fed suburban kids began to pick up a microphone to sing about a thuggish lifestyle that they have never even witnessed yet alone lived. Big corporations often referred to as the illuminati bought out all major distribution companies, major radio, TV stations and media outlets, and even some successful record companies to control the growth of hip hop, make money from the fad and limit the amount of black men who come out of penitentiaries to become rich rappers.

Today, hip hop has been watered down, the message in the music has been altered and studio gangsters have been manufactured by major record companies solely for the purpose of exploiting what’s left of the culture. However, real hip hop heads who know the history of rap culture have refused to be fooled by this new urban trend.

WHAT IS YOUR DEADLY SIN?

The old adage “the love of money is the root of all evil” can be true but not entirely accurate. The deepest root of all evil stems from seven (7) deadly sins that some know of but many have never heard about. Before we get into that, some may ask, what are the seven deadly sins? All over the world people belong to diverse religions and cults while some choose to be atheists. We each have a distinct belief system for the most part fitting to our individual religious choices or it was passed down to some from a preceding generation. None-believers who inherited a particular religion or cult through birth never question how that religion or cult came to exist. We (this generation) belong because they (our ancestors) belonged. And then there is the a new batch, an increasing secular consignment that does not practice religion or cult even though they are not atheists. Ironically enough, whether one belong to a cult or a religion or not, whether they are practicing members or a complete none-believer, the fact remains, we are all helplessly indulged in sin.

So I ask you; why is it that sins are those exact habits and behaviors which we are prone to indulge in? The activities that we shouldn't partake in, why is it often the case that those activities end up posing the most irresistible temptations? The foods that we shouldn't eat, that ends up affecting our health, the pleasurable acts of drinking, smoking or partying that leads to pre-marital sex and infidelity, our uncontrollable desire to acquire more and more technological and material possessions that we believe will make our lives easier, why is it difficult to resist those urges that consume our own morals? If we are not hooked on one sin, we will be hooked on another. Whether we believe in it or not, whether we realize it or not, if we stop and observe our lives, we will see that we are consumed by desires for vanity. For this reason alone, many marriages are doomed before the bride can take off her wedding dress to be consummated.

I would like to let it be known that I believe in a God but I have not been to a church in years. I am a none-practicing Christian who is only expressing his views on this subject. I am in many ways, many a times, very guilty of all the sins that I’m about to mention in this blog. I am far from a saint. This blog, like all my other blogs, was written to express my views on a subject, this one being what I believe it is that drives us to commit crime or sin. This can be educative but it is not a gospel. People, who love me, love me because they love me, not because of my good deeds. I am simply the bearer of truth – which sour, bitter, ugly truth that many pretend does not exit, I bring you that truth, raw and uncut.

As a child, I grew up in a religious household where moral values and eduction went hand in hand with worshipping God. Both parents are devout born again Christians. But as a teenager I grew up an outcast on the streets during a time when two deadly civil wars ensued. You may have heard my war stories, my refugee stories as I've told them before. I lost close childhood friends and family members. If you find anyone who played soccer with me when we were kids or went to kindergarten through to middle school with me, if you find anyone who knew me in elementary school, please let me know where they are. Meeting that person would be one of the best reunions to happen in my life right now. I tell you this not to seem tough; in fact, I'm from the streets but I have not been in the streets for at least six (6) years. I tell you this because I want you to know that I have seen through enough to know what I’m talking about and in no way am I implying that I'm a saint. I'm just another sinner maybe even worst than you.

Ok, that being said, I’m going to tackle this topic hoping that anyone who reads this blog would understand another point of view on this subject. If even one person appreciates this blog, my purpose will be served. Did you know that it is not by accident that you hate stupidity? No you did not. Don't you hate it when people give you their opinion on your personal problem when they were never asked? Yes. Would you tell your troubles to someone who you know won’t care to hear them? No. If you’re in someone’s home and they critic you, do you accept the criticism humbly or do you walk away mad? You'll probably walk away mad. If someone disrespects you in your own home do you treat them with respect in return? Nope, you would probably kick their ass and throw them out. Don't you get mad at people who complain about things they need not subject to? Yes. There is a natural instinct that makes us react the way we do. There is an "Adamic nature" that we all have that compells us to urge for these feelings.

How sensitive are you to another person’s problem? If they had an explanation why someone could not do what you wanted, would you forgive them or see it as an excuse? To us it is a logically justifiable common sense to react the way we react but why don’t we do the opposite? - Why not embrace that annoying bloke who asks stupid questions, encourage the nosy girl who gives hash opinions without being asked, tell your troubles to that scornful stranger who don’t care to hear it, accept critic in someone’s home, let that disrespectful visitor lounge in your master bedroom or be supportive of the nag who complains about something they need not subject themselves to. I can imagine fumes pouring out of your ears because we all know we can’t let any this happen. But why?

The major battle in the Middle East right now is not just over oil. Oil plays a big part in our day to day livelihood, for sure, but the Middle East battles are also about a religious and cultural invasion which is deeply resented. In the West, sin is only recognized by religious believers who are concerned with a specific doctrine. In the West, you are bound to face justice for committing a crime. Sins can be legal in the West, which makes it ok to commit them. For example; Valentine’s Day, a celebration in fornication, the idea of common law or a civil union that condones fornication. It is illegal to “spoil the rod and spare the child” in the West and furthermore, although being openly gay is frowned upon by all Abraham religions, it is perfectly legal in Western constitutions which can blatantly trumps any holy doctrine. This makes it ok to be a homosexual or transvestite in the West. When it comes to lying, as long as you don’t lie in a court of law you are free to lie as you please.

The only sins that are punishable through justice in the West are sins which are also considered as crimes. For example; murder and rape. However, in the Middle East on the other hand, religion trumps human justice. In the Middle East sin is considered to be more punishable than crime because sin is seen as an atrocity against God’s rules while crime is against man’s rules. And in their belief God aka Allah trumps any man at any time on any day. There is justice in the Middle East, don't get me wrong, but it is dispelled through religion. They will punish a criminal but often you will find that the fundamental principles of moral values are taken more seriously when one commits a sin against God or the prophet Mohammed. If sin is a cousin to crime and we live in a world where people are naturally drawn to commit sins then what are the driving forces that lead us to commit a crime? That driving force is what is known as the seven (7) deadly sins. But what are the seven deadly sins that stir up more evil than money itself?

PRIDE – Pride is the opposite of humility. It is an awful emotion, a personality of egos bound by one’s own self exultation as compared to their impression of others, where one becomes pompous and conducts their self as if they were more civilized or significant than other people. The pride I’m talking about should not be mistaken with good self esteem from a hard working accomplishment or one being proud of someone else. This pride is an unhealthy emotion wherein one’s abilities, accomplishments, wealth or affluence leads them to behave superior. Many crimes have occurred because of ego and pride. This emotion can stretch out of control becoming one of the central roots of many crimes. It is a perverse form of bravery that comes without courage. And it can be vain in most cases.

ENVY – When you despice someone because you want what they have that you do not and can not have. Envy is another unhealthy emotion that brings the felling of need in comparison to qualities, possessions and/or achievements which one covets in another person. It can lead one to have low self esteem and thereby, slander, kill or wish for the downfall of others. This too is another deadly emotion that can lead to crimes or sin.

ANGER – One of the most dangerous emotions that can prove futile to any cause. Anger is a depraved emotion that comes when pride is insulted. No matter how humble one is, we all have a sense of pride that when pushed to its limit can erupt into anger. Even God gets angry. Anger can lead one to cause unintended destruction to others. It can fuel jealousy when we feel we have been neglected or rejected. Many crimes of passion have occurred in anger. It can be one of the most violent, wicked and merciless emotions as in rage or wrath.

SLOTH – Do you know of someone who has a terrible habit but will do nothing to correct it? A lazy person who always wants it the easiest way? They have no discipline, they don’t believe in hard work but they want success? That is a sloth. The procrastinator who sits on their ass doing nothing, the athlete that does not train steadfastly, the wack rapper who does nothing to horn his or her skills, they suck but you can’t tell them that they have no original talent because they will fall on the ground and cry instead of going back to the pitch to practice. People, who do not work for what they want, the college co-ed who parties all semester oly to seduce her professor for a passing grade. The lover who does nothing to improve his faults in a relationship, but he wants to reap good rewards without making the effort? This laziness can lead one to take shortcuts in life, a shortcut that ends them up on the wrong side of the tracks.

GREED – Want, want, want, and wants more. Selfishness, self centered behaviors. People who think they deserve more than others and fight to beat other people to a prize that they don’t need. They have enough but they will charge more from someone who has less without a care in the world. They might have it all but they get bored of it, they may be in a position of power and use that influence to prevent another person from success. They want to get more and even more. Greedy people can never have enough of anything, they are never satisfied, and they won’t allow others to win. If they have a choice they would be forever the only ones who enjoy good opportunities, possessions, money, spoils of life etc, etc. Greed is the reason why people kill each other for money. It is a sin that leads to many crimes.

GLUTTONY – Do you know of anyone who eats loads of food and then eats more again? Some people eat more than others naturally, I agree, people have dissimilar ranges of appetite. But if you’ve eaten until your stomach is as swollen as a pregnant teenager and you are back in the kitchen grubbing down another piece of turkey leg or you’re in the fridge gulping down another glass of apple juice or refilling your ice cream bowl for the third time, you are a glut. A slut, a man whore. Many of these seven (7) deadly sins can be inter-related as one enables the other. And everyone is a victim of at least one of these deadly sins. For example, greed can enable envy which can enables gluttony. Pride can enable anger which can initiate entreat for crime. Depending on the severity of your attachment to the particular deadly sin, your personal character will reflect in that manner based on your echelon of self control against that temptation.

LUST – Often mistaken for love, lust is a strong sexual desire for someone whom you are attracted to but not in love with. That steamy bootycall with your sexy co-worker whom you are not in love with, the drunken one night stand with that muscle bound tattooed covered stud from out of town, your parents will never meet him, she is one of five girlfriends, the convenient friends with benefit relationship that you enjoy with your trustee acquaintance. Lust is that sexual desire that encompasses you. That serial cheater with wandering eyes who cannot control their infatuation for prohibited romance. Lust leads to fornication and adultery. It leads to anger, envy and pride. It is caused by the spirits of sloth and greed but it is a desire that is nearly impossible to resist. Only if lust was not a sin; if it didn’t lead to groping and rape; if it didn’t drive people to have forbidden fantasies, only if lust was love. But it is not, so therefore we live in a world where pornography, prostitution, strip tease and lust itself are all driving forces that lead us to willfully disobey religious doctrines that have been long forgotten.

In conclusion; we find ourselves in a world of contradicting principles, a universe that delves unwanted consequences as we sin on. Our human nature is chronically infected with a desire for deadly sins. Be you a priest or a nun, an theist or a believer, a criminal or a law abiding citizen, a celebrity or a politician, each of us are born with this nature to indulge in sin. If you don’t drink, you fornicate, if you don’t fornicate you commit adultery, if you don’t commit adultery you masterbate, if not, you lie or steal, we are envious of each other, we have foolish pride and lustful eyes, we kill. It’s in our movies, it’s in our music, its in our internet and video games, we are entertained by it while we don’t think about it. We just do it. We do what we think is cool. We do what we see on the internet, we buy what is advertised to us on TV and we yearn for what brings pleasure. We agree with talk show hosts and reenact their advices in magazines. The world is full of injustice and crime, which are all rooted in these seven deadly sins and we will add to the problem before we solve it. Who is to blame? We live in a new sinful world and yet these sins were being committed since the beginning of time. What is your deadly sin? Is it pride? Is it envy? Is it anger? Is it sloth? Is it greed? Is it gluttony? Is it lust? Or is it more than one, two three or all of them?
