This pro-Democrat Party blog sketches out former vice president Joe Biden’s key policies for the 2020 presidential election. As an independent mastermind, I’d like to suppose that I’m unbiased to either of the two leading political parties in the United States. For guys like myself, who are in our early 40s, our demands go beyond the procurement of free healthcare, tuition-free community colleges, or a decent minimum wage. We are also looking to increase our business possibilities, secure our retirement, all while having the chance to contribute to the overall development of our communities. In 2020, at the ballot box, our two main choices are going to be Donald Trump or Joe Biden. So, the question becomes, what does Joe Biden have to deliver? What is the clear message from the Democratic Party? How will it benefit us if Biden were president?
One would have to pretend that a President Biden would strengthen the affordable healthcare system and make it possible for Americans to save money on their doctor bill.”
The COVID-19 pandemic has made it unquestionably visible that America desperately needs a universal healthcare system. Since Biden was former President Obama’s vice president, we will have to credit him for Obama Care. Had that system remained in place, maybe that would have helped a lot of Americans during this pandemic. One would have to pretend that a President Biden would strengthen the affordable healthcare system and make it possible for Americans to save money on their doctor bill. Moreover, due to the devastating effect of this global pandemic, we could also assume that this time around, the Republicans may not push back as hard as they did when President Obama first introduced the nation’s most comprehensive affordable healthcare system. So, Biden’s presidency assures a signed, sealed, and delivered healthcare scheme.
According to Joe Biden, another crucial action he plans to take when he becomes president is to put more money into women’s pocketbooks. The Democrats refer to it as the “Child Tax Credit.” At this moment, whether single or not, mothers receive an extra two thousand dollars every year. Biden has proposed to triple that to six thousand dollars per year. You may question why I describe the Child Tax Credit as money in women’s pocketbooks? That is because there aren’t a lot of fathers who receive such tax credit. I’m sure some fathers do as do families. However, in today’s economy, the working class comprises of women and single mothers. This tax increase is most certainly going to benefit women and mothers, which is a genuine thing. I also assume that a devoted father who received a Child Tax Cut might hand that over to the mother of the child.
In today’s economy, the ideal minimum wage should be $25.00 an hour if the worker should afford to live a proper experience. Nevertheless, an increase from $10.00 to $15.00 per hour is a good thing.”
The former vice president has pledged that if voters get him elected in 2020, he will raise the minimum wage to $15.00 an hour. The idea is to turn the salaries of the poor to a living wage. Often in America, you will find that people who work for a minimum wage cannot afford to pay for rent, utility bills, good food, healthcare, education, or the rising cost of living. Even if they made $9.00 or $10.00 an hour, that income is not enough to cover all of their monthly expense. Many times they would have to work multiple extra shifts and forfeit their sick days, days off, and vacation to earn some extra cash. Such workers with families often face low-income housing and welfare. However, a teenage girl or boy who works for a minimum wage is unable to leave their parents’ home. The payments are enough to buy a few clothes, weed, alcohol, or video games.
If they are fortunate, with that income, they could scrape a used, used car. In today’s economy, the ideal minimum wage should be $25.00 an hour if the worker should afford to live a proper experience. Nevertheless, an increase from $10.00 to $15.00 per hour is a great improvement. Another concern that the Democrats are excited about in 2020 is a tuition-free community college. When Biden becomes president, his voters should expect the Democrats to remove the burden of student loans and student debt. Many people who cannot afford it now would gain access to some form of higher education. While this is a great offering, there is a small catch. Community colleges are usually home to early school leavers who have completed their General Education Diploma (GED). America makes it possible for former students to return to the classroom.
Nevertheless, that level of education is so low that it does not apply in other advanced countries. You are practically still illiterate with that degree. What I mean is that your GED and community college credentials are unaccepted where it should count. And unless you have studied something like nursing, landscaping, or construction, you will have trouble finding a job after graduating with your GED and associate degree. If you have studied business, arithmetic, or workstation technology, your competitors will be high school and university graduates. Just as getting a free GED and associate degree is a great opportunity, it won’t dramatically change your circumstances. I’m saying that to say the alternative to this would be the availability of high-paying and secure jobs. In 2020, voters are looking for the candidate to show them the money.
In my modest opinion, the Democrats would have a better chance of winning this election if they stopped bashing Donald Trump and concentrated on describing their policies a bit more. Of course, their core base does not have to be convinced. Except if the Democrats intend to convince some Independents and Republicans to vote for Joe Biden, they must regain their confidence. Celebrities and mainstream media tend to be liberal. Although Joe Biden claims to be progressive or moderate, many people fear that extreme liberalism will cost them, among other things, their freedom of religion, the right to bear arms, or freedom of expression. Biden promises not to do that. How does one support their beliefs without seeming to despise the other? The question of whether transgender women should play contact sports with natural-born women.
Another concern that the Democrats are excited about in 2020 is a tuition-free community college. When Biden becomes president, his voters should expect the Democrats to remove the burden…”
Or perhaps if trans people should or should not use the same bathrooms as the children of heterosexual people? There are questions about Plan Parenthood and abortion rights, whether children are allowed to change their gender, anti-male prejudices in family courts, fatherless homes, the predicament of the declining heterosexual family, government programs that do not benefit single men, women’s rights, etc. Those who are not Democrats need a lot of reassurance that once they vote for Biden, he wouldn’t overlook these concerns. Or that, to avoid being rebuffed, he may not have stated his most authentic interests. Again, simply put, when it comes to the economy, Biden wants to raise the minimum wage, make communities colleges free, and close these certain “tax loopholes,” which the Democrats believe make the Republicans get richer.
While eliminating tax cuts for the rich sounds agreeable, it does not tell me when I can get a no-hassle low-interest loan to expand my business, for example. He defers to blocking Wall Street, which makes him appear to be outdated. Hadn’t he and former President Obama already done that in 2008? Although the experienced politician may know what he’s doing, gassing the middle class up against Wall Street is so 2007. In 2020 the public knows it’s all talk. No matter what, Wall Street always wins. If you’re a voter right now, you will tune out when you start hearing how Obama’s former vice president is about to stick it to Wall Street. The voters want to hear about the plans for us, not the ideas for Wall Street.
Joe Biden’s plan to take away the right to bear arms may be a 50/50 lose-win. He asks people to trust the government when people are already afraid that the government has armed the police with military weapons. Today, most Americans assume the police will kill civilians if they deemed it necessary for their peace. Consequently, Biden would get more attention if he addressed today’s dilemma by talking about prison reform, police amelioration, and the end of police brutality. When he speaks about his intention to take away the private weapon of American citizens, he evokes many difficult emotions. The fact that he had described the weapons as “military-style” does not justify his wanting to take them away.
When it comes to foreign policy, Biden often speaks of working with our “allies,” but he never says how or at what cost. He has not served out a clear plan, except that he intends to take a different approach.”
Despite that, after several mass shootings and a very high level of gun violence, many will also agree that the solution is to ban civilians from owning assault weapons. That is why I believe this gun control is a 50/50 argument. The second amendment exists to arm civilians for the expressed purpose of using that firepower to eliminate a dictator government. Should a court impose policies that people don’t prefer, the Second Amendment allows them to use force to take control. That will not be possible if Joe Biden takes away the right to own powerful weapons. Although on the other hand, the availability of those armaments points to high gun violence and mass shootings. In my opinion, Biden should discuss a plan to carry out stricter background checks to ensure that people with vague intentions do not get a chance to own those weapons.
Democrats are not crystal clear about their foreign policy. Should Joe Biden become president, we still don’t know precisely what is going to happen. Is he going to fight North Korea and Russia? When it comes to foreign policy, Biden often speaks of working with our “allies,” but he never says how or at what cost. He has not served out a clear plan, except that he intends to take a different approach to that of President Trump. Biden often mentions climate change and nuclear proliferation in the context that he wants to take steps to stop them, but never outlines the steps. There are similar outlooks on terrorism and cyber warfare. When it comes to immigration, Biden has offered to grant asylum, restore the dream act, and make it easier for foreigners to enter the country. Democrats want America to lead the world with open borders.
He bases this decision on sympathy for refugees and people fleeing one region, hoping to find a better life in America. Biden appears to be a champion of women’s rights. He plans to open the borders to women who flee various forms of abuse in their home countries. As a whole, Joe Biden has a pretty decent package. I’m not sure it’s up to date with what Americans are looking for in 2020, but it’s better than most. America will be a great place to live if the Democrats win this year. Biden’s America would be friendly to women, it would improve the freedoms of transgender people, it would give the government a lot of power while reducing taxes for the middle class. The minimum wage would increase, everyone would have affordable healthcare, he would work with allies for climate change and immigrants will be welcomed into the country.*
