Well, gays are adamant about being discriminated against yet they tend to discriminate against those with an opposite viewpoint.”

If you’re considering a topic that has more catch twenty-twos than politics, it would have to be religion. Especially if you express the Abrahamic viewpoint. The main religions being Christianity, Islam and Judaism have doctrines which can be controversial to secular values. Why do I say this? Well, gays are adamant about being discriminated against yet they tend to discriminate against those with an opposite viewpoint.

On the other hand, Abrahamic doctrines do encourage some far-fetched cultures. A few years ago I wrote a blog entitled, “Are We Fairer Than God” because I foresaw a conflict with the idea that secular culture trumps religious upbringing though many religions do encourage dogmas which are unfair.

1: Abrahamic Viewpoint Encourage Slavery and Discrimination – The Holy Books do not only tolerate slavery, they give specific instructions to slaves and their masters. For example, in Ephesians 6: 5, “Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ.”

The doctrine also hails Jews as the chosen people and slate the rest of the world as Gentiles. There are rules and regulations on when and how Jews should hearten or avoid us, Gentiles. Right off the bat, Abraham and his bloodline are ordained by God Himself.

Every believer accepts that many of us are heathens and Gentiles who converted to Abraham’s faith.”

What this means is if you’re not a Jew in bible terms, you’re a Gentile or even worse, a heathen. From a secular perspective, this could be translated as discrimination because none believers are cast out of heaven. Words like a whore, bastard or Gentile proves the point. Every believer accepts that many of us are heathens and Gentiles who converted to Abraham’s faith.

Now, we have a secular culture that seeks to overturn that since it considers God to be unfair to gays, bastards, unmarried couples and other “sinners.” What the secular culture leaves out is the part where whores, bastards (like myself), unmarried couples and other sinners get to be saved when we repent and return to God or Allah. That’s because the secular culture seeks to promote salvation without God.

The Bible dictionary: “The word Gentiles means the nations, and eventually came to be used to mean all those not of the house of Israel… As used throughout the scriptures it has a dual meaning, sometimes to designate peoples of non-Israelite lineage, and other times to designate nations that are without the gospel, even though there may be some Israelite blood therein…”

Let me also say that the bible offers a way to salvation. Through Abraham, we are called to God. Though we’re Gentiles or heathens if we repent, we become accepted. In this context, one which I subscribe to, it’s clear that doom is estimated to befall Gentiles or heathens who don’t repent. How do you repent, if the government has exulted its constitution above the word or doctrine of God?

Do not make a covenant with them or with their gods.”

Exodus 23: 30-33 – “Little by little I will drive them out before you until you have increased enough to take possession of the land. I will establish your borders from the Red Sea to the Sea of the Philistines, and from the desert to the River. I will hand over to you the people who live in the land and you will drive them out before you. Do not make a covenant with them or with their gods. Do not let them live in your land, or they will cause you to sin against me because the worship of their gods will certainly be a snare to you.”

2: Homosexuality Is Not Only Condemned, It’s Strictly Rejected in the Scripture – I can never imagine what it’s like to be gay. The scripture totally rejects and calls it out clearly. At least with colored people, the scripture was kind enough to call us Gentiles.

Though it recommends discrimination against heathens and Gentiles, Jesus Christ and The Prophet Muhammad {peace and blessings to His name} extend an olive branch to converts. As a black man, I can convert to Christianity, Islam or Judaism and be covered under the covenant of Abraham. When it comes to gays, I have yet to see a scripture that exonerates them without repentance. Check out these verses:

Leviticus 20: 13 If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.”

1 Corinthians 6: 9-11 – “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”

There is no way to spin these scriptures. The bottom line is if you’re Jewish and you’re not a homosexual then God is super cool with you, right off the bat. If you’re a Gentile or a heathen you have a chance to repent. The scripture offers the same to gays. This is what it implies with repentance. Here’s one more bible verse.

1 Timothy 1: 10-11 “The sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine…”

If you can find another way to say what these verses mean, please let me hear it. With the liberation of gays in our secular community, religious freedom is a must since there is no way anyone can preach, teach or adhere to these scriptures without being discriminated against. This is why I say the Indiana Senate Bill 101 has merit. *
