If God is good and Satan is evil then Togo still couldn’t assert whose mercy they exist under.”

10. TOGO – What should be one of the independent states of West Africa sadly falls into the statistics of those who can barely pinch the short end of their stick. Their historical and prestigious city of Lomé slumps in its seat as decades have passed. If God is good and Satan is evil, then Togo still couldn’t assert whose mercy they exist under. Therichest.org stipulates that; “Approximately one-half of the population lives below the international poverty line of US $1.25 a day.” Togo’s gross development product is only $899 per capita. In countries like these, that are considered the poorest of the poor in the world, the lowest grade of food, water, education, medicine, jobs, housing, etc. are in high demand among their more depressed class community. This usually affects the children and spins generation after generation into a vicious cycle of death. Find a charity and DONATE!!!

Do you want to imagine what life would be for a young girl or boy who was born in the lower class community of this society?”

#9. MALAWI – On an international level Malawi is practically depicted as a hell hole. Alleged human rights violations include excess police brutality, corruption impunity, identical prison conditions, violence against women, human trafficking, rampant child labor, etc. Do you want to imagine what life would be for a young girl or boy who was born in the lower class community of this society? Therichest.org puts it this way; “Malawi has one of the lowest per capita incomes in the world. In December 2000, the IMF stopped aid disbursements due to corruption concerns, and many individual donors followed suit, resulting in an almost 80% drop in Malawi’s development budget. In December 2007, the US granted Malawi eligibility status to receive financial support from the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) initiative.” Malawi’s GDP is currently estimated at $860 per capita. The twist is how this country is blessed with a slew of natural resources but somehow her GDP made a serious improvement when it hit $849 per capita.”

#8. SIERRA LEONE – My home country is one where like any other, you ride high when you’re on top but if you’re a bottom feeder struggling is a lack of a better word. The twist is how this country is blessed with a slew of natural resources, but somehow her GDP made a severe improvement when it hit $849 per capita. Therichest.org makes the case that; “Sierra Leone has relied on mining, especially diamonds, for its economic base and home to the third largest natural harbor in the world where shipping from all the globe berth at Freetown’s famous Queen Elizabeth II Quay. It is among the top diamond producing nations in the world, and mineral exports remain the main foreign currency earner and also among the largest producers of titanium and bauxite and a major producer of gold. Despite this natural wealth, 70% of its people live in poverty.” Find a charity and DONATE!!!

I consider individual productivity illogical since unemployment, disability or prolonged dependency on a sole breadwinner factors in heavily.”

#7. NIGER – Poverty, debt, and human right misappropriation continue to plague the West African people of Niger. Gross development product per capita usually indicates a country’s total financial productivity per person, annually. Unluckily, even in some of the wealthiest nations like Qatar, where the GDP is $141,300 per capita, personally, I measure that GDP not only per capita but per household especially for the lower class in that country. In my personal analyzes, I consider individual productivity illogical since unemployment, disability or prolonged dependency on a sole breadwinner factor in heavily.

If you get what I’m trying to say, you will realize what a GDP like Niger’s $771 per capita signifies for someone in the lower class of that community. Therichst.org asserts that; “over 80% of its land is covered by the giant desert of Sahara.” This should be fertile ground for charities that focus on woman’s empowerment since “Niger’s poverty is exacerbated by extreme vulnerability to exogenous shocks and inequality which affects girls, women, and children disproportionately.” Find a charity and DONATE!!!

The average man in these extremely poor regions may never get the opportunity to drive a car but he may get a crash course on how to fire a rocket launcher.”

#6. CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC – Their GDP halts at a frantic $768 per capita. Where extreme poverty breeds resentment and angry ringleader quickly becomes a tyrant. Africans do not manufacture guns. The majority of Africans are miners or agriculturalist. Why is there a shortage of food and clean water but an abundance of guns and bullets? The average man in these impoverished regions may never get the opportunity to drive a car, but he may get a crash course on how to fire a rocket launcher. Age old plights of corruption stir up human right violations, illiteracy, violence against women and children while there remains a lack of basic necessities? 62% of this population lives on less than $1.00 a day.

Therichest.org pointed; “Despite its significant mineral resources; uranium reserves, crude oil, gold, diamonds, lumber, hydropower and its arable land, it remains one of the poorest countries in the world. Diamonds constitute the most important export of the Central Africans Republic, accounting for 40–55% of export revenues.”>When sold by Africans, West African mineral resources do not appear to weigh in at its fair shake on the global market. The present Eritrea’s economic conditions have not improved and real gross domestic product growth averaged 1.2 percent…”

#5. ERITREA -” Affected by the Italian colonizers of the 19th century. Eritrea’s advantage of controlling the sea route through the Suez Canal made the Italians to colonized it just a year after the opening of the canal in 1869 and the same reason the British conquered it in 1941. The present Eritrea’s economic conditions have not improved, and real gross domestic product growth averaged 1.2 percent between 2005 and 2008; in 2009 GDP growth was estimated at 2.0 percent.” – Therichest.org. As of 2011, the annual Gross development product of Eritrea was estimated to leak at $735 per head.

This over populated East African country cried blood under the tight grip of German and Belgium rulers but once they abandoned it, local Tutsi and Hutu natives clashed against each other.”

#4. BURUNDI – Burundi is another beautiful nation of Africa that was torn to shards by years of civil war, tribal wars and colonial occupation. If you watched the movie “Hotel Rwanda” you should have an idea of the atrocities that battered this region. This overpopulated East African country cried blood under the tight grip of German and Belgium rulers, but once they abandoned it, local Tutsi and Hutu natives clashed against each other. Subsequent years of grievous carnage destabilized the region for what seemed like an eternity. Today, Burundi’s GDP clasps at an uncertain $615 per each human soul.

Therichest.org said; “Burundi, known for its tribal and civil wars, have never really had any peaceful time between the perpetual civil wars and as a result, it’s the fourth poorest country in the world. Owing in part to its landlocked geography, poor legal system, lack of economic freedom, lack of access to education and the proliferation of HIV and AIDS approximately 80% of Burundians live in poverty and according to the World Food Program 57% of children under 5 years suffer from chronic malnutrition.” Find a charity and DONATE!!!

From international hot waters under hails of sanctions Zimbabwe has repeatedly fallen short of its forgiveness.”

#3. ZIMBABWE – Riddled with a shortage, this country’s ill fate escalated in the early 1920’s when President Robert Mugabe’s futile attempts to liberate and unite the people became contaminated when massive corruption unleashed a stifling economic atmosphere under endless civil wars. From international hot waters under hails of sanctions, Zimbabwe has repeatedly fallen short of its forgiveness. The financial toll of their plight has left its destitute with essential needs that an entire generation has died without. This is what Thericheast.org had to say about Zimbabwe.

“The government of Zimbabwe released its largest bank note, a 100 trillion dollar bill issued in January of 2009. In addition to the economic problems, the life expectancy of Zimbabwe is the lowest in the world – 37 years for men and just 34 for women. One of the problems for the early deaths is the 20.1% of the population with HIV and AIDS. The health issues aren’t seeing any improvement.” Zimbabwe’s GDP has tumbled down and stopped at $487 per capita. Find a charity and DONATE!!!

…efficient transportation, Firestone Rubber Plantations, Bong Mines and Nimba County’s LAMCO Yekepa opened prosperous accesses for many foreigners who flocked in…”

#2. LIBERIA – If I told you Liberia was once the seventh heaven would you believe me? This American colony once stood as a beacon of optimism in West Africa. Growing up in Monrovia, 1 Liberian dollar was worth $2 US dollars in foreign exchange. The economy was so robust in most cases US currency was spent freely in conjunction with local money. Prestigious Catholic schools and hospitals, a world-class University (LU), efficient transportation, Firestone Rubber Plantations, Bong Mines and Nimba County’s LAMCO Yekepa opened prosperous accesses for many foreigners who flocked in from every corner of Africa.

This pleasure trove was dismissed when Charles Taylor’s National Patriotic Front (NPFL) stormed the country with what they called a “red revolution.” Following that event, two atrocious civil wars ensued unleashing a record level barbaric carnage that ruined the entire country within a 14-year time span. Therichest.org explains; “Liberia is one of the few countries in Africa that have not been colonized by Europe. Instead, Liberia was founded and colonized by freed slaves from America.

These slaves made up the elite of the country, and they established a government that closely resembled that of the United States of America. In 1980 the president of Liberia was overthrown and a period of instability and civil war followed. After the killings of hundreds of thousands, a 2003 peace deal was led to democratic elections in 2005. Today, Liberia is recovering from the lingering effects of the civil war and related economic dislocation, with about 85% of its population living below $1 a day.” Today, Liberia’s GDP weeks at a bloody-nosed $456 per capita. Congo is the largest country in the world that has French as an official language
– the population is about six million larger than the population of France (71 million people in D.R Congo vs 65 million in France).”

#1. CONGO, DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF THE – Mobutu Sese Seko’s Zaire now renamed The Democratic Republic of Congo currently employs the lowest gross development product in the world. This country blames its demise on Mobutu’s government since its officials instead enriched themselves with the country’s wealth instead of developing their nation.

Therichest.org explains that “Not to be confused with the neighboring Republic of Congo, the Democratic Republic of the Congo has become the poorest country in the world. The Democratic Republic of the Congo was known as Zaire until 1997. Congo is the largest country in the world that has French as an official language – the population is about six million larger than the population of France (71 million people in D.R Congo vs. 65 million in France). The Second Congo War beginning in 1998 has devastated the country. The war that involves at least 7 foreign armies is the deadliest conflict in the world since World War II – by 2008 the Second Congo War and its aftermath had killed 5.4 million people.” The Democratic Republic of Congo is hampered with a mere $348 GDP per capita.
