I may be the first African born U. S Hip Hop artist to independently record and release a full-length album in Canada. My album includes Canadian and American producers and artists. Accomplishing this task has been a huge task. It’s been a pleasure doing music in Canada. Though the Canadian music industry operates quite differently. Major radio stations have not played my singles partly because I’m an American indie artist and not a Canadian. We even serviced singles to the only urban station in Ontario, Canada that plays international music. You can help speed the process by requesting your favorite Freddy Will song on FLOW 93.5 FM and Z 103.5 FM.

I want fans to know that Ghetto Breed ENT is doing our best to ensure that fans all over Canada have equal access to our products. Just as much as those in other parts of the world. We were notified by Soul Kiss Entertainment that the album will be available at HMV and Chapters. But according to our sources, they lied. I wanna apologize to my fans in Canada for my album not being available in stores on the release date as we promised.

We will re-release the album on July 7, 2009, along with my first book. I do believe we got sabotaged though by my distributors. (Soul Kiss Entertainment) YES, this has affected my sales. They haven’t given me a formal explanation on paper as to what happened but a rep from dep stated to my manager that there was a glitch in their system. We’re currently waiting on a formal explanation as to why and what is being done to correct the problem.

Ghetto Breed Distributions (our distribution company outside of Canada) will also have the album available through Freddywill.com. You will be able to order the album along with other merchandises directly from my website and have it mailed to you promptly. Since Canada is where I recorded the album and I was fortunate to obtain two national distribution and promotion deals there, we decided to do a separate Canadian release which was September 23rd, 2008. However, on July 7, 2009, all my fans will be able to purchase copies of the Ghetto Breed Distributed package of the re-released album… Packages will include a revamped version of the album with new singles and an all-new book.
